"Every human desires to be a Hero."

JUBILUS.

"But if all humans desire heroism, who desires to be a Villain?"

[001.]   WHAT IS JUBILUS?
Jubilus is a multiversal storyline group for #mvrp, focusing around upkeeping justice and humanity in a world where evil creeps from both above and below, lead by demi-gods who themselves do not resemble humanity, merely imitate it. the jubilus, originally, was the triage of @uilefheasach, @aphoticself, and the last missing sister, but now it has expanded itself in a mission to face a threat much bigger than it's own ambition can handle. will they be able to keep the world safe?

[002.]   why jubilus?.
the reason jubilus is set up the way it is, or the reason why jubilus was an idea in the first place, is that you're not really fighting villainy in the form of some tyrant wanting to conquer the world. instead, you're fighting a god who's grown so bored that they're willing to instate forces of chaos in many different forms just to keep entertainment. one vision of 'evil' could be internal conflict, one could be the end of the world, all depends on the heroes within.

[003.]   how jubilus?.
jubilus' main world, the ulsya, is one where the main faction leader - zisel aiser - gathers all his people. on the other end of the spectrum, he fights the constant invasion of the revenant and those who desire to attain his favor.
people will be split into three factions, doing different things to ensure chaos does not reign the world, and to ensure that the revenant remains unentertained and unelated for the rest of his life, that is jubilus' sworn mission.

THE HEART.

first was the divine son.Jubilus is the term for the long melisma placed on the final syllable of the Alleluia as it is sung in the Gregorian chant. The structure of the Alleluia is such that the cantor first sings the word "alleluia," without the jubilus, and then the choir repeats the word with the melisma added.in reality, jubilus is the name of the justice bringers in the evigheden. composed of the three children of the revenant, an evil god entity that overtook the world and it's deities long ago. their names are zisel aiser, mirele eithne, and an enigmatic entity only refered to as 'the witch'. in a world where god, the ever loving all powerful entity, is a bored architect of misery, there can only be so much people can do beneath him than struggle.from this struggle was born the jubilus. the affiliation that swears by the powers of the outer goddess eleftheria, 'the merciful liberty.' the idea is that; if struggling is a must, then those of his blood must struggle first in place of an innocent soul born under his ruling. the issue arises when both the witch and mirele both die under the effects of this struggle due to different reasons, one to kraizen directly and the other to the samsarian villain whose name is long forgotten.now, it is only zisel seeking to upkeep the law, raising the banners of heroism, a truly narcissistic value, in the name of keeping those souls safe from the acts of his own father, and any of those who attempt to tear away the liberty and joy from young souls.all those marching against the jubilus can join kraizen's side in being chaos agents, dancing for his elation and in return, they attain strength, and the favor of god. those who join the jubilus can instead attain the joy of knowing another innocent child sleeps, unaffected by the calamity of this cruel god.second was the vengeful daughterpurple prose aside, what's this group for, really? i'll cut it short. i had multiple runs of storyline groupos before, all of which failed for one reason or another. this is the third approach, and i have a few things planned which will hopefully make this attempt a little different from the other things. i like to think i've learned from the mistakes from before, and if this ends up not working out, then i reckon that's it for leading from my end, i'd just sit it out and participate from hereon. however, until that happens, i'll throw in my attempt to tell a story of my own.i'm more than welcome to criticism, and honestly, we're all here to have fun, so don't be shy if something's not to your liking or if you have an idea on how to make it better. the person leading this group is a fight roleplayer first, a storyteller second, so this is me branching out into something that isn't my comfort zone.

RULE 001.
No minors, no exceptions, for any reason. This is an 18+ space and it stays that way.
RULE 002.
Under no circumstances do we allow abuse of any kind. however, for minor disagreements, kindly ask an admin to mediate and resolve the issue without dragging anything either through the group or on the timeline. we're all adults, we can handle things privately, no?
RULE 003.
Do not bring drama into the gc. if someone within the gc gets exposed, forward it to our admins instead of just dropping it in the chat like a hot potato.
RULE 004.
Jubilus is a narrative storyline group, not a competition. The point of the group is the stories it will create, so whenever possible; give your peers a chance. write with the guy you don't know, try taking initiative. open mouths get fed.
RULE 005.
Canon characters, OCs - doesn't make a difference. Don't make a difference when it comes to picking who you want to write with.
RULE 006.
Reply speed expectation is, in major threads - which will be outlined - 48 hours MAXIMUM.
If we haven't heard from you by the 48 hour mark with no prior communication, I'll make one last attempt to reach out. if not, then you'd be placed on a temporary hiatus the first time it happens. if you continue being inactive for over a week, it's a kick.
a kick is not a ban. you're welcome to rejoin whenever you have more time to dedicate to writing, but if it happens a third time, you're banned. sorry.
RULE 007.
Zisel, the Witch, the Revenant, and Hermes can appear in-character in any thread, for any reason, at any time. This is a story about a bored god and the people trying to survive him. Sometimes he shows up because he wants to.
RULE 008.
Do not, under any circumstance, attempt to 'cut the line' and approach the revenant head first. you will get killed. it does not matter how strong you are.
RULE 009.
This is a dark-themed group. There will be violence, themes that are probably triggering, and everything is as is. That said, IC hardship stops being IC the second a mun's actually uncomfortable. Talk to us before it gets there, not after.
RULE 010.
Please consider joining if you're actually going to see your thread through. Dropping mid-story doesn't just end your arc, it strands whoever you were plotted with. If you can't commit to steady replies for the foreseeable future, wait until you can.
